1) The check-in service. As it was stated, the check-in time was 4pm. We arrived at 10am and the ground staff just looked at me and said, your room is ready. We were utterly impressed by that. 2) The amenities. It is very well thought out for travelers. Tour maps, guide books and routes were provided for our use in Kyoto. It was so useful that we couldn't cover it all. 3) The size of room. It was more than perfect. Very spacious and it is so easy to move around. 4) Strategic Location. There are both metro lines there for us to travel. North-South & East-West. Perfect! We're even near by the bus stop too!

Kuok

Very nice hotel. Clean and spacy room. Plenty of supplies: tea, coffee, hair brushes, whatever you need. Placed near subway station. Gion park is in 15 minutes walk. Surrounded by streats with izakayas and little shops of all kind. 24h pharmacy and kombini included. Very polite and friendly english spoken personnel (not quite well, but we understand each other). Helped us to send our luggage to the next hotel by transport company. There is a smoking area opposite the lobby! Can be one hundred percent recommended to stay in!

Alexandra

a typical Japanese business hotel but SUPER clean, things are just right, wooden furniture. everything is comfortable, not modern in its design, but super "just feel right" every machine is functional, the air conditioning is quiet enough, the bathroom is super clean. well maintained you can feel this is a hotel that really cares and does good service for a reputation (not just a chain business or rip-off money). location is also good- close to the subway and center, but relatively not so touristy.

Yu

Big rooms. Excellent staff, they helped us ordering a taxi since we had too much luggage (tends to happen when you shop in Japan), and when one of the taxi driver said it was not possible to take us because of the luggage, the hotel staff apologised. They are super nice. Location was ok, near a train station and a bus stop, there are convenience stores close by. We would stay here again.

Ivonne

The staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful. Great location, and two good restaurants, Italian and Japanese, shame the bar closed at 9.30pm. I've stayed three times before and would return again as a solo traveller.
